Virtual tokens of appreciation one member gives to another. On April 9, 2009, Facebook celebrated 200 million users by partnering with 16 global charity/advocacy groups. Those groups created virtual gifts for the Facebook gift shop that Facebook users can purchase for their friends. All proceeds go to the group associated with the gift.
